Office of Control laboratory of Food, Beverage, Cosmetics and Sanitary of Markazi province

 Office of Control laboratory of Food, Beverage, Cosmetics and Sanitary of Markazi province which has been ranked by the Department of Food and Drug Control Labs as the second-level lab in a space of 500 square meters and with a number 15 staff with bachelor's degree and master's degree in the fields of nutrition, chemistry, microbiology, food industry under the supervision of control department of Food of Arak University of Medical Sciences is active.                                                              

5 major sections include:

Division of acceptance sampling

Division of Microbiology

Division of Food chemistry, Cosmetics

Division of Toxicology and Device analysis

Division of QA

The office controls safety and health of food, drink and cosmetic ingredients by controlling primary materials used in food industry and food products manufactured in all steps of production, distribution and samples by Organoleptic and physical tests, chemical, microbiological, and toxicology analyses based on existing national standards and guidelines from the department of laboratories.
